A short story by James Winterbottom and HP Lovecraft.
This week’s Halloween special is a reimagining of a classic HP Lovecraft story which I’ve given my own twist to. The original story was called The Dunwich Horror and I’ve taken the basic ideas from that story but added a few extra bits and removed other bits. It’s probably about half original and half is taken from the source material. They do say that nothing is original anyway, but in this case there is a much clearer line between where the influences for this story come from.
I was inspired to write this story because a good friend of mine, Mathew Cooper, made a low-budget horror movie based on The Dunwich Horror. It’s called When The Earth Gives Up The Dead and is available on YouTube for free or you can watch it below.
